Close your eyes and think......what does it feel like to be alive? Actually, this might work better if you don't close your eyes. Look around. See, hear, smell, feel. So many things happening all around you and your brain is absorbing all of it. But here's the question. What does it feel like to actually be aware of the fact that you are alive? You are walking, talking, moving all day...have you ever just stopped and thought about what it is to be alive and to know that you are alive?
Try it for 30 seconds or a minute (longer if you can). Seems very relaxing and reassuring to me. To think, I am right here, right now and I know it - what does that feel like? Give it a try.
